Jhon is flanked by longtime friends Jason Reynolds on drums and percussion and Steve 'the mariachi' Maritato on bass. Jhon met Jay at an animal house style frat party. "When I went out to get some air I saw a bunch of girls gathered around this enigmatic guy in leather sitting on a vintage motorcycle talking, and that was Jay Reynolds."
"I met Steve when I was a boyscout at the age of 12. We went on camping trips, listened to The Doors and Jimi Hendrix, laughed alot, and lit fires. His father was the Scoutmaster. I was stressing over my lack of earning merit badges until he told me not to worry about it and just have fun. I never earned another merit badge."

"I found Skinno at an old abandoned Mack Truck Warehouse in New Brunswick, New Jersey. They were giving free space for artists and Jay and I tried to land rehearsal space, but it never flew. The dog we had seen on the way in was still there on the way out about to be taken by the pound. The officer said 'seven days and then they euthanize them'. I took him home on the spot. I'd never had a dog before. It changed my life. He is my best friend, companion. He goes everywhere I go... he is my wingman."
